This happened yesterday and I've tried to let it go, but it's just eating at me and I thought I'd share/vent here to see what you think about my situation.
The Story:
Coming home with my 11yr old daughter on the bike from getting lunch with my wife I had a "mentally disabled" guy who lives down the street actually try to make me wreck. I turned onto our road(gravel road) and just about the time I hit second gear this guy tosses his fucking mountain bike into the road in front of me. I very nearly wrecked while avoiding the bicycle. I recovered and took my daughter home and dropped her off because I didn't know what the hell I was about to do, but I knew I didn't want her to witness it. lol
When I got back to where he was I was hot.(seeing red and fucking pissed off) My first question was "What the hell was that" His response "You need to slow down." My next question was a very loud "ARE YOU THE FUCKING POLICE???" Then I went on a 5 minute rage lecture about him trying to be captain of the dirt road police and how he's DAMN lucky I can't afford to spend some time in jail for beating the shit out of a worthless POS drawing a gov. check for being stupid. Basically told him that if sometheing like that happens again I'm going to break both of his arms and throw him off the fucking dam.(it's just down the road from our house) I also roosted a shitload of gravel(nice size rocks included) all over him and his bike while doing a few doney's in his driveway and made him jump on the back of a car to keep from getting back tired.(made me feel about 1% better) What I wanted to do and still really want to do is beat the shit out of him.
When I told my wife what happened she made me call the police and file a report. The cops just told me that they know all about him and that he's "protected" because of his mental status. If I lay a hand on him I'm charged with a felony...Even if he throws the first punch. They said their hands are also tied because of his status and the only way they can do anything is if he physically hurts someone.
As for the future,
He rides around here on a 4 wheeler, and from now on when I see him on it I'm going to tell him I called the police..(not really calling them... I hate cops) Hopefully him not getting to ride around on his new 4 wheeler will be some form of punishment. Just seems really inadequate.

When I get my motovlog cam bought and setup I'll be sure to get him on video being stupid. I really wish I would've had a cam for all the drama. It would have made for a really good youtube vid. On a slightly gross note. When I put my helmet back on a few hours later to run an errand it smelled funky inside. Took me a minute to realize it must be from all the spray from me screaming and yelling at the sofa king. Weird how much saliva stinks after it dries. lmfao

What would you do(or have done) in this situation? I don't want everyone to think I'm picking on the disabled,(I'm pretty sure he's able to work, and is just one of those people milking the system. He can speak just fine, but talking to him you get the impression real quick that he's not playing with a full deck) but what really burns my ass is thinking about my daughter and how scrapped up an hurt she would have been if I would have crashed because of this asshat.

well first of all, glad you and your daughter are ok.

and I've been known to shout at idiots who have tried to kill me, just I don't often post it online, I too can get somewhat agressive at times (no I'm not a pychopath either :P ) but I definatly won't hate you after reading this, it is a shame that he can hide behind the disability, even though it is possible that he doesn't realise how dangerous he was, it would still be nice to know that he could be sat down and have a nice stern talking to instead of having the police say they can't or they'd get in trouble, I'm sure if I started throwing bikes at people it wouldn't take long for me to be arrested.

here's to hoping it's the last trouble you have with the guy.

Wow now that is a whole new level of ass-hattery. I'm usually the opposite way round to you though, if someone pisses me off I over react instantly but usually the moment passes and I get over it... the other day though I did have a proper incident, there's an uphill fairly blind turn in one of the villages near me, and as I swung round it (in my car, not on my bike) there was a moron practically parked (crawling at about 5 mph) right around the corner. Luckily I wasn't going more than about 20 because I knew this corner was blind and there's a junction fairly close to it. Obviously, with him being in such a stupid place, I nearly (but not like... dangerously so) went into the back of him... I did the polite thing, seeing as he was being the clown but legally it would have been my fault, and put my hand up to say sorry. He responded in kind, and he crawled along, obviously looking for something. I twigged that I didn't know who the car belonged too (I live in a very small community) and as I was looking at the numberplate, I noticed his hand was still up. Except he didn't have his hand up. He was giving me the v's. And alternating with the wanker sign. I laughed to myself, backed off and followed him up the road... and he carried on doing it. Bear in mind there was a good 10 metres of space between us. Then he stopped. Reversed. And kept reversing, forcing me backwards. By this point I was steaming but he put it in drive, went forward and carried on. I followed (I had to go this way, bear in mind I couldn't pass him, the road was too narrow, and it was the only route to my destination) and he sped up. Suddenly, for no reason whatsoever, he slammed on his brakes as hard as he could. By this point I was pissed, so I got out of the car. The f**ker stalled so whilst he was trying to sort his life out, I ran up to the driver side window and punched it as hard as I could. I take kick boxing classes at my gym 3 times a week so needless to say, being pissed off and ready to kick his head in, I'm surprised I didn't shatter the f'ing window there and then. Anway, the bugger looked like he'd just sh*t himself, slammed it into gear and ragged off down the road. The ridiculous thing is, as soon as he'd disappeared, I'd all but forgotten about my anger and just laughed about it with my mates later down the pub. Kinda wish he'd have got out of his car but that wouldn't have got us anywhere now would it. It makes me laugh that some people can be so pathetic and act so tough but when faced with anything more serious they get sh*t scared and can't deal with it.

Anyway, what I'm saying is if I were you (and this is the difference between me and you, paternal instinct) I would have done something there and then rather than going bac to confront him. Legally too, you get look upon more favourably if you react instantly rather than readdressing the situation, because it could be construed (if you did anything to him) that it was premeditated, and that usually carries a more severe sentence for anything that might happen. Having said that, if you'd have kicked his head in and wrapped his bike around his neck, any sane judge or normal human being should be in your favour because he not only endangered you, but also your daughter. Also, if he's so mentally unstable he's not accountable for his actions, he should be in an institution, not on the streets.

You can easily learn how to make an incendiary device on the internet that will leave no evidence. Have you considered burning his house down?

Think thats a bit too far :P the old burning bag of dog shit works just as well :D

Slash the tyres on his 4 wheeler and tell him he needs to slow down ;)

Joking aside you now know there is bugger all you can do just watch out for the arse, when ya have a cam just have it on and if anything does happen your get a nice vid for youtube ;)

Well, I can't say what I would do in that kind of situation. However, where I work at, there are some people milking the system and claim they are 'mentality disabled' (they are just lazy, plain and simple) so if something doesn't go their way, they usually cuss me out, make threats, things of that nature. I usually just let them vent themselves out and then walk away. A few times it has happened and they apologize about it later. There was only one time I thought It was going to get physcial; I had my ready stance going, which probably helped to because the guy noticed it and realize that I wasn't going to back down. He was yelling but eventually calmed down. As for this butt clown, I am definetly glad you and your daughter were okay. If you are going to try to catch in the act of doing something, don't put yourself in the position where the guy will try to claim you are stalking him and file a restraining order. Sooner or later, the guy is going to mess up and get caught, hopefully not resulting in the injury of another person or one of their family members.

I know how you feel i almost got killed by a midget in an Audi to to long ago.

I probably would have slashed his tyres then tie his bike that threw at you to the back of my bike and ride off with it at extremely high speeds. needless to say im glad you didnt beat him although i respect you for wanting to ;)

Thanks, I haven't seen much of him since the incident. I think his parents are keeping him on a short leash.(He's 30ish yrs old)
LDB,
I saw the post were you felt bad about getting mad at a midget who cut you off. lol I've got three different vehicles on vid in the last two days were the drivers just didn't see me, but they heard me. I'm gonna upload that vid soon. I'm trying to get away from WMM and start using my Vegas exclusively.
