Leather Jacket - find help where you can.

When i bought my first street bike, 7 years ago, i bought the leather jacket and it's the only thing i haven't replaced yet, and i never really want to. The leather suffers worse at the wrists and forearms due to wind. To save the jacket, i found a cobbler/shoe repair shop in my area of Los Angeles. Shoe guys are natural fits for any leather sewing needed. This guy has also altered my chaps to fit in length and the belt length.
Along with fair price, he tosses in leather conditioner free, the good stuff.

Wish I had someone local to fix my zip good and proper, my local shop uses low quality zips that last 6 months max. The original RST zip gave me 5 years.

Got a pic of the jacket work? :)

The black leather panels were put in to replace cracked leather. When the lower panels dried out too, the cobbler had my old leather to replace it. You can see the seam across the wrist, that leather used to be apart of the arm above it. Gotta love a guy that keeps your old scraps for you.
