Lav Mics

Hello everybody,

The tough trial of finding a decent lav mic is soon over. So many delays, thanks DHL. Anyways by the end of the month I will go from 0-3 lav mics, so I will be selling one or two for dirt cheap. If you're interested let me know, I'm not sure which one's I will be selling yet. I'll keep you posted.

Post up what you're getting always looking for different mic options although the 3550 is still hard to beat....except when you forget to turn it on

I'm curious what Lav mics you are using. I have ordered all mine from ebay which seems to be the only place in Canada to buy a lav mic with a 90 degree (elbow) 3.5mm stereo connector. I connect to a "GoPro Hero 2" which supports 3.5mm audio jacks and is handy because the audio records within the MP4 file so no post production mixing is required.

Sony ECMCS3 has a right angle 3.5mm jack

But is it $1.50 CAD?

No, but you get what you pay for. cheap mics dont work good for me. The sony was my third of 4 mics I have bought. ATR3350 was my last one, and I like it the best. The sony is a good alternative. Every 3-8 dollar mic i bought was crap.

All my vlogs have been filmed with the same cheap lav from China. I even spliced a 90 elbow from a pair of headphones onto it. Check out my audio it's top notch ;)

I've had awesome luck with my cheap $1 ebay mic, neewer brand. It survived my 70 mph crash and everything. I bought 3 just in case not knowing the quality, but I haven't even opened the other 2 packages. still on the original.
