Labyrinthitis Ends My Year

Soooo. I got labyrinthitis and it messed me right up. Hospital, drips and drugs, nothing like when it happens after a night out!

Had to cancel tomorrow at Snetterton.... Got to face facts, my biking year is already at an end.. Gutted

I had to google what that was. Though at first it was something to do with you labia.

I've had something similar with my inner ear once. Fell down in the shower and wondered what was going on. Was like being hit with a bat around the head.

Drugs fixed me also.

I was on drugs. Took them for like three days but stopped as I don't think they did much.


Thandfully I can leave the house and drive again but I'm not touching a bike until the slight dizzy spells has buggered off 100%

Yuck. Inner ear stuff sucks. I'm a benign positional vertigo sufferer, so can empathize. You don't know how much it sucks until you are laying down, but still feel like you are falling.

Hope you get some relief.

Basically, its like drinking a couple of bottles of vodka, then being put on a roundabout at full speed, then told to walk it off!

Been like it for 6 days, its getting better now thankfully

Get lost in a maze, then get inflammation from all the stress.

That then fucks up your ears and you can't ride.
