I can just see it now - the straps would be so long to reach it looks like bondageYup. I don't trust my 360 with a single attachment point. I carry some Velcro straps, so I always attach a second attachment point to the bike, so it can't torque to ram ball or clamps.
It might be hard to find places on your bike for that 2nd point, but with that much leverage, I won't trust a selfie stick with just one attachment point.
That pesky stitch line!Def agree with @Dewey316 re a second securing point if possible.
I only use genuine RAM mounts when mounting a long extension. The angle looked fantastic as it was far enough away to not cause distortion that you get when trying to grab too much on a shorter pole, better stitch line too!
Me putting string places:Yeah, wind can be a real jerk sometimes!
You could try tying a rope or string from the pole about a foot or two up around the front of the bike to keep it from moving backwards?
Those teachers and all that crazy knowledge ...I was going to 3d print some custom mounts but, I remembered all that physics bs that the teacher wanted to teach me at high school before losing a $400 camera.
I'm going to invest a little more and to buy a shorter but solid RAM Mount pole.
