General Intro Animations

I've made quite a few intro animations that feature one of my cannel logos. I use Blender, Ableton Live Suite and DaVinci Resolve.
This is one of them...

That is all well beyond my ability. I would suggest any intros if being used in all you vids to be under 10 seconds though else folk just skip them.

I do most of them at 10-seconds long. But some are a little longer, and it doesn't bother me if someone skips the intro or the whole video because of the intro. That's on them.
The only intros I skip are the ones that are the exact same intro every video. Which is why I started making a unique animation for each video. If it bothers anyone so much, I'd rather they just move on.

Yeah, I think a lot of folk do that too... I can see a dip generally in my analytics where my intro sits and that is only 5 seconds long, but is always the same intro.

I've gone with 12 seconds but I'm well aware of SponsorBlock and wouldn't be surprised if people blocked them. I've seen people block one-second clips as "filler" :-D

I just try and make my channel name pop into frame in different ways. But ideas are difficult.

My intro thing is about 9 seconds, and probably took me three hours or so to set up in a tolerable way , but there are a few versions now.

Blender is a great program. I think it’s the strongest towards the end when I can fully see and read your logo. You can use the same animation for your videos, but just use different sound tracks. With a quicker rhythm and beat you can edit your four different shots to be quicker and in sych with the beats of the music.

That's really cool!

I just have a simple logo that I show for 4 seconds or so, and try to incorporate in some way [background, behind my shoulder, stuff like that] using the Magic Mask and trackers in Resolve. Nothing to skip
