Intercom - Is Sena 20s Worth My Pennies??

G'day all,

Looking to purchase an intercom for music and accepting calls on the fly, would people suggest the Sena 20s be the ideal intercom for motorcycle riding?

I have heard issues with crackling and water entering the unit in wet weather. Not sure if they are actually water resistant or not, but don't want rain to be an issue.

Any suggestions or advice will be considered! :)

Cheers,

I use the Sena SMH-10, and connect it to my phone, sat nav directions and music from the bike (BMW RT) and it all works brilliantly.

There were a few early bugs and issues with the 20S, but most seem to have been worked out, although some seem to still have issues around battery life and water ingress (I've has no such issues with my 10)

If you are just using it for music and calls, then you could even consider the SMH-5, which is not as sophisticated as the 10 or 20, but would possibly meet your needs (and be quite a bit cheaper!)
