Insta360 Has a New Camera Coming Soon!

So in a week, Insta360 are launching what looks like a replacement for the very awesome Insta360 One R, guessing it will be called the Insta360 One R2
I don't know any more details just yet, but I will try and find out more as soon as I am able.
On the tarmac, I have preferred using my Insta360 One X2 to my One R, it is an incredible tool for motovlogging and motovloggers, but when I venture offroad, I have tended to use my Insta360 One R as it is rugged, and if a module breaks, you can just replace that part. It also has stronger lens protectors than the One X2 came with as well, so gave me added piece of mind it would survive a tumble, which it often did.

As a One X2 owner who loves the camera to death, I would pay lots of money for a One X3 with a much higher resolution. I doubt I'd buy a One R2 though...

I don't think that the One R2 will be a leap forward, def interested to see what it brings to the table though!

So the new camera is the Insta360 ONE RS. It's still just 5.7k in 360° mode, so meh, I'm not really interested.

Hopefully a ONE X3 comes someday with a higher resolution, THAT would interest me greatly.

I am interested to see what this RS offers, but not enough to buy one myself. I think Insta360 are doing great things, but it is memory cards holding back the tech... and mobile phones and PC's. It would be ace to have a 360 camera that could match the video quality of a GoPro Hero 5 at 1080, but considering we are on a GoPro Hero 10 now, which is vastly better than the 5 was, the 360 cameras are playing catch up.... and are way behind.
