What temperature do you draw the line at?

Dunno, although the pavement (US: sidewalk ) was icy this morning before I set off.

I think it's down to necessity and if there's an alternative that day. I'd avoid twisties if around freezing, and stick to main roads if I had to go out.

Lowest I have been out so far is 28 degrees(-2C). There hasn't been a day colder than that but seeing that my bike is my only mode of transportation, I would go lower.
