If You Feel Bad About Your Riding Skills Watch This!

Watched about half, it was a bit like "he's getting in to the swing of it now", then he'd run wide again. Target fixation and/or going in to bends too quickly for his ability.
 
That guy thought he was totally slaying it. Plenty of areas where he should have realized he was in way over his head riding at those speeds. I'm surprised it took nearly 9 minutes for him to have an off.

Going into another person's lane is a serious no-no. I hope this off taught the guy a lesson. He wasn't looking trough the turns hardly at all. That is why he screwed up so much I reckon. Look where you want to be, if you look off the cliff... well... that is where you will be...
 
Some people really should stick to 250's for a few years before touching anything larger. It was scary watching him take those corners..
 
Man, this was disaster in making from 1st second of the video. Its very lucky it ended in this way because every time he ran wide, could have been a car there... would have ended much worth.
 
Loved his boots. Got me watching some other videos.

Grom rider thought he was the bits, knee down every corner, as fast as he could on a 125, sportsbiker behind could hardly keep up or didn't want to try, and of course he went flying off round one corner. He couldn't see that he was doing anything wrong - other than it's a public road, he was treating it like a race track - and he blamed it on his front suspension not being set up right and that all riders riding on the edge come off at some point, likening himself to MotoGP riders. Not saying he wasn't a good rider - definitely much much technically better than I will ever be - but he was acting like a douche. At least he had ATGATT.

Over on the snake with RNickey Mouse, a couple of interesting crashes on the guard rail. First a guy on a sports bike and his back wheel starts bouncing all over the place. Is that likely to be ABS kicking in? He was in jeans and a leather jacket, and he landed gut first on the guard rail. Ouch!

Second one was a squid on a really ugly scooter - never seen such an ugly one - head down behind the screen, slip on beach shoes, shorts, and he seems to slam on the back brake in the corner sending the bike wheels first into the guard rail. His shoe flying over the rail was hilarious as he slammed into the rail. Luckily he was wearing a helmet. He'll be wearing a rash too.
 
Seeing as how work blocks youtube, I'm going to take a wild guess as to what this video is. It's a guy on a older Triumph ST that is looking all over the place except for where he actually should be looking, through the corners! Doesn't he crash around the 8:38 mark or something like that?
 
Hope he's improved his riding skills since then, more experience needed before you try roads like that at that speed. I was just waiting for an oncoming car to wipe him out every corner. Glad it ended like it did and not any worse :s
 
To me, that looks like someone who's been told "Watch Twist of the Wrist; it's all you need to know!" and then went out and tried to ride the twisties without actually practicing or improving his abilities.

I use the motorcycle subreddit, and it annoys me the hard-on they have for that video. Yes, it's useful; but they act as if it's all you need to know how to ride.
 
Damn, whys he trying to race? Such a gorgeous place to drive...

Also, he trusts that front wheel slightly less than i trust me ex girlfriend who cheated on me. He needs a track day.
