It is hard to create something truly entertaining that people will watch it all. I always like to finish my vids with something "that I think, anyway" amusing or entertaining.
But then, as others have said, the stats show that only half the video is watched... and I think to myself Ahh Man.... they missed the good bit at the end.
Maybe I should record my videos back to front...

I would say 10 is the max. But I upload them in whatever length I feel comfortable with. I used to love watching every bXd video front to back. I still do, but time is limited, I got to work on my own channel, and have other things to attend to.

Remember those stats are generally at 50% because of the number of people who click away during the first few seconds.

You need to look at the retention graph, as I find that while 30% drop off almost straight away, those that do stay normally watch it all.

What is the best length for a vlog? When I started, my videos were much longer. Now they usually come in under 10 min. I find when the video is longer than 10 min, I don't even want to watch it to edit it!

What do you find as a good, comfortable running time for a MotoVlog? What is your ideal?

I think you have the right idea. But sometimes its almost impossible to cut it down. I feel you on not wanting to edit long videos. It just takes so long.

I make them as long as they need to be. I'm a fragile egomaniac with perfectionist tendencies and a desperate love of the sound of my own voice. Plus everybody needs to hear all of the awesome stuff I have to say.

I'll try harder to make a short one though. Perhaps!!

I've been trying to aim under 10, but I guess I just blab on and on because usually they have been going over 10. Well I guess it's either that or I have nothing to say.
