I just received a fantastic spamming message on youtube

This message came from "kitasaffan". It is clear they haven't looked at any of my vid's as no-one in their right mind would describe them in such an optimistic manner. IE this is spam. I am certainly not going to click on the link they provided.

Anyone else received this?

Also, it shouldnt work.
Youtube ranking isn't as simple as that.
Its a complex scoring system (obviously not public), that takes in account not only the number of views, but more importantly the number of interactions. Meaning, vids with lots of comments, good thumbsup/thumbsdown ratio, with a high view percentage, high amount of time viewed and shared a lot are more likely to come up.
That's why suddenly the cam-girls dissapeared (cam girls were videos of girls in great cleavage that had vids with the same name as the viral videos, and that consisted of them talking about the real viral video with lots of boob bouncing - they exploited the thumbnail(and their... erm... personalities) to lure people in for views). Youtube then changed so that if you didnt actually watch the vid for at least X amount of time, it wouldnt count as a "view".

Also, your own view history is a factor. If you watch a lot of motovlogs, and type yamaha R6 you'll problably end up in C2W's videos.
If you watch only superbike champ races, and type R6.... something else will come up. Your location is also a factor.

It is just another bunch of garbage. I personally have received a number of these comments from different users with the same message. It is likely a phishing scam or other macro enabling virus/bot/crap. Just ignore the user and delete the comment/inbox message.

It is the price we pay to go public.

yeah i get them all the time, i get like 3 or 4 a week. - pretty annoying as sometimes they have clever titles.
