if you look close enough he's sort of bunny hoping (yes i know the bike doesn't leave the ground) to get in the turns

U.S. motorcycle cops do it in competitions on bigass full-dresser Harleys and Goldwings. Sometimes they can be seen doing it at demonstrations as well.
