How Pc Should I Be In My Motovlog's

" No one man should have all that power"
I'm still new to motovlogging.
I always wonder how Politically Correct I should be in my vlogs.
Don't get me wrong I'm not looking to go out of my way to offend people but do you guys go out of your way to avoid saying certain things?

Be yourself.
Some people will be offended, others will enjoy it.
Depending on what you say, you may get angry responses, you may not.

But, your vlogs should be a representation of yourself. Don't feel you need to act differently to get views/subs.

Bahaha, just say what you like, some people won't watch, some will, can't please everyone. I have a tendency to swear like a nun on judgement day. Meh.

I agree, it's just like in the real world. Be true to yourself, and the right people will come and stay. All the others will come and go. In my opinion, I'd rather have a few truly loyal and awesome fans who support me for my opinion than a million fans who support the fake me. Know what I'm saying?

You should always be yourself, unless "yourself" is an extreme racist type of person. Not saying you can't be racist but if you make it public, prepare for the troll army and watch your back on the streets, in today's world it's not all that good to be hated.

I'm saying this because, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "politically correct", is it like not calling someone "black" but "African-American" type of PC?

If it's not then this post is totally irrelevant and I apologize.

Indeed, be yourself, although maybe tone down the right on the edge stuff.

Many of us make vids because we enjoy it, but there's no point releasing vids that means no one will watch either. May be worth thinking along the lines of how you speak when family are about, rather than your friends perhaps?

Very well said!

The way I see it is this: Whatever you say you'll get a reaction, be that a good one or a bad one, and you know what they say "There's no such thing as bad press?"...........Right?!
Just be yourself, give your opinions and above all have fun :D!

What these guys said. Be yourself, unless you're a slobbering racist dickhead. In that case, learn to don't be that anymore and then be yourself. It's your little quirks that will make you stand out, so don't let the PC police ruin your good time.

LOL...You are pretty correct in you thought. I grew up in the city so to me a if i'm describing a person of color then they are "Black" to me. So things along those lines.
I'm the farthest thing from a racist but i get what you are saying.

My take is that, if you worked for a public agency and you would be sacked for voicing certain comments (eg racism, hate speech or homophobia), then think twice, thrice and again about it, and then decide it's not worth it. I don't think you'd be trolled, my view is you would be rightly caned. And maybe lose your job.

But, if you have a specific issue to raise which may be more political, such as the role of religion in society, Islamic State, the legality of wars, the odd habits of some rednecks, immigration, the health service, incest and inbreeding etc, you shouldn't really worry about putting across your opinion. Just be careful you don't cross the line into the three issues earlier mentioned (or others that are of the same ilk).

BTW, some people class certain levels of anti-a-specific-religion as bigotry and racism. It all depends how you explain it and what you are trying to say. Generalisations against a whole class of people don't really go down very well

Be yourself, but when it comes down to controversial subjects you have to be willing to take the heat. I personally tend to not talk about them much since the news is doing all the over-hyping of a given subject already. No sense in adding to that unless it is traffic related.

That's true. I'll comment on that stuff if it's local to me, like that goofy cop in McKinney. I did one on the riots in St. Loius, too, because my wife is from there and we have people 2 miles from Ferguson. Otherwise I usually leave it to the media whores. People don't realize that whatever your political bent, Cable News Media is not news, it's marketing, and they use confirmation bias to sell you bullshit and propagandize you. Only time I watch any news at all is in the morning to get traffic and weather. It's wrong 80% of the time too. lol

Like others have said, be yourself but don't go out of your way to be anti-PC if that's not how you behave with your friends in real life. I can usually tell when someone is going out of their way to try and emulate other vloggers in a bad way. It doesn't come off right. If you're a really sarcastic smart-ass in-person. Go for it. I don't hold much back myself.
