That's true. Even the big vloggers (100.000+) end up just rambling on about something alot of the time.Viewers usually expect something every week, but if you make it clear that you have no schedule and will post if and when you are free, then they should understand and accept it. However if you want to have a schedule, then you have to commit to it. Unless you are really serious (which I'm not) about posting your motovlogs, I don't see why have such a commitment, in the long run it usually means you have to make sh*t up just to meet your schedule, which also tends to make viewers start to get bored with your lack of good content.
Just a thought.
That was a common theme, I believe, in a recent threadSeems like finding good topics is the hardest part of vlogging
Wow you guys record that much / long?I usually just turn on the recording, do the ramblings, and turn it off in between anything interesting. That being said my longest posted video is 2 hours plus long. LoL!
I vlog because the camera is running; the camera isn't running because I vlog.Wow you guys record that much / long?I usually just turn on the recording, do the ramblings, and turn it off in between anything interesting.
Maybe it's not the place, but for those who are recording all the time: which mode do you use? Infinite loop or normal recording? If you have no problems, just delete all the footage? You do something with it?I've only been doing this for a few weeks, but I try to have at least 1 video a week.
If I'm on the bike, I'm recording. You never know what you are going to run across (stupid drivers) or when an idea is going to pop into your head to talk about.
The amount of footage I can get on my card exceeds the battery duration [actually exceeds both batteries...], so I don't need to worry about the loop recording. I just set it to record as normal.Maybe it's not the place, but for those who are recording all the time: which mode do you use? Infinite loop or normal recording? Thanks mate! Might be doing something like that, but with no mic in commutes. The amount of footage I can get on my card exceeds the battery duration [actually exceeds both batteries...], so I don't need to worry about the loop recording. I just set it to record as normal.
Then, I copy to a hard drive and delete from the card when I need to charge the camera.
If the footage was boring, though, I just delete it straight off. Then, once I've made use of the other footage - or deemed it not needed - I delete that from the hard drive. I'm not going to go back to it.

i find posting on a certain day helps i do Wednesdays and sundaysAs a viewer, how often do you expect to see new material, and do you post vids according to that number?
