By making great content and being patient.
Video responses, meet-ups, and involving yourself in the community.
Test rides, reviews, wheelies, and crashes.

We all start off with very little subs. I started in Jan and now have 67 subs I think. Just take you time, upload great videos and put in tags (?) like motovlogs, motovlogger etc. You'll get there eventually.

I'll try and sum up some answers that I've seen from other vloggers to this question;
Don't focus on your sub count. Vlog for your own enjoyment and the subs will come. It will take time but if you obsess about your subscriber count and it doesn't rise quickly enough for you then you'll get disheartened .
Separate your non-bike related videos from your bike ones on your YT page.
Get involved in the forum so people get to know you.
Post a comment on the video upload page letting people know when you've got a new video. Include a link to the video, not just your YT page, and give a brief description about your video's topic.

Some people get hundreds of subs in a few months, others (like you and me) take longer. Just because someone has lots of subs it doesn't mean all those people still watch the videos. So get people on this site viewing your vlogs and your sub count will rise.
I've only got 40 subs, but the more vlogging I do then the better I'll get and more people will want to sub.

p.s. I've subbed you (though that shouldn't matter, now that you know not to worry about it) :)

I did a series of about 3 videos a while back giving some tips that I think help to get subs. But like TriumfAnt said don't worry too much about numbers. If you make videos that you like you'll find an audience.

triumfant, kryten! thank you both :D and triumfant, you are absolutely right about focusing to hard on my subs... lol I consistantly check to see if there are any new ones. and kryten, ill check out your series!! thank you!

What really helped me was (as early called) involving in the community.

Did the SolarBear Challenge, which helped me with some subs.
Joined this forum ;)

Do some of the challenge's you see appear here or on youtube.
And meet up with other vloggers in your area.
I have meet up with Guybrush/Gunnar and he named me in the vid, when i drove infront of him.

In that way you can get some extra subs.

But you need to have good content, that is the basis

meifesto, my content is kinda wishy washy right now... i just started! but it will be gradually getting better and better. let me know what you think of it so far if you have time...

For us we focused on just recording shit we enjoy and only putting up videos that we love to watch ourselves :P

Also, being active in the motorbike community helps, but you should really being doing that because you are interested, not just for subs.

What I think helps the most to get you views and subs is interesting and unique content!
If watching your own vids puts you to sleep, why would anyone else watch them?

This is all my opinion and we aren't a massive channel by any means, but hopefully this helps! :)

yourpalschrisandal, i agree 100%... lol i would not ride for subs!! i have been riding for 18 years with no helmet cam or anything! i love it. i just was wondering any youtube insider tips. but your advise does help. and i appreciate it. i need to be creative with my vlogging. i just cant ever seem to remember good topics and when i do, i am like a dog! everything i look at takes my mind off of what i am thinking :D im not giving up though. im going to keep uploading videos and just see what happens. if anything at all. :)

etc lol

Owwwwwwww look hot chicks.

Ill have the one in the blue hahaha funny stuff. I have seen it said an easy way to get subs is near misses and crashes. Not saying go out and crash but if you see alot of near misses collate them. Also a failed epic adventure such as baronvongrumble's gsxr's offroad adventure

I think that of my own content aswell.
For every vlog i upload i have atleast 30 min of extra materie wich was usless or full of (grammar)errors.
And onlu 2 out of the 3 vlogs average makes it to youtube.

Still i think my content needs to improve, but it is a start.

Absolutly, i loved being part of the SBC and will do it next year.
That i got some subs from it is a nice extra.

But look for the things that you think are fun to do and see how it works out.
And watch your vlog after editing it, before you upload it to youtube.
My first couple of vlogs i edited, saved it and the next day i rewached them.
If i liked them still they went to youtube, otherwise they where deleted.

Ohh...
This maybe also helps.
But when i watched a new vlogger i check out there gear.
If they are using a helmet and only sundayclothes they already losed my interest.

You can't make someone to wear everything, but the more the vlogger wears, the better.

Having a near miss is not recommended but got me a lot of views and subs. I'm not a proper vlogger yet (need to focus on learning to ride not talking) also it's true involve yourself interact with your local riders/uploaders and have fun!
