How Do You Feel About Hate??

so my grom video is doing well getting a lot of views but is disliked and iv had a some of hate comments.
i cant help but feel even hate and dislikes are good the more views the better so i feel that responding in kind to there comments brings in extra views so you can do just as well off being disliked its a funny thing but it appears to be working what do you think about haters ???

every one wants to defend the grom its brilliant lol 90% of them haven't even rid one they defend it because they see other people ride them lmfao .... groms = scrap.

I guess the Grom is a bit like the Mazda MX5, easy to hate unless you have driven/owned one.
But seriously. I get your point, I don't consider the Grom a superior bike in any way. Its a toy, its advertised as a toy, and those who buy it does so because they can, not because they are in need of what it offers. So it makes sense for you who use your bike for more than just playing around to not want one.

Look at the statistics and see where people who watch the vid come from. I bet it is mostly Americans, who has a very different bike culture from what I have seen.

So assume that they don't know better and move on. Haters will hate.

I made a video way back in the early days of my channel talking about how a guy who rides a Harley got pissed off over a comment that I made that wasn't even really negative towards Harleys but since it wasn't in praise of the Harley he went on a tirade.

That video obviously got spread to a bunch of Harley forums and I got tons of negative comments for a while. Then eventually it ranked so high for people searching for Harley videos that it started attracting people that hated Harleys. There were flame wars from both sides and it was actually fun to watch.

In the beginning I tried to point out how nothing I said was negative toward Harleys or Harley riders but toward this one guy. Then eventually I just started baiting them. In the end I decided to take it down because I got to know the guy I was talking about in the video and he was a pretty decent guy that just misunderstood what I was trying to say. For the last few months that the video was up I was making about $800 a month just from that one video. I kinda regret taking it down now but I'm friends with the guy now so I've left it private.

Just remember the old saying, even bad publicity is good publicity. If you have haters they're still giving your videos views and the comments and viewer engagement will make your video rank higher. Eventually people that agree with you will start finding your video and then you can just sit back and watch the views and subs go up and the money roll in if you have the video monetized. Haters aren't necessarily a bad thing. I'm sure every one of the big name motovloggers has haters. I constantly see people bitching about Chaseontwowheels begging for money to repair his bike when he crashes it or people accusing Jakethegardensnake of buying subs. In the end those guys are riding around doing something they love and making money for it. If you can get over the initial shock of having people spew hatred at you eventually you start to like it and nudge them to keep them coming back. It also helps if you're a sarcastic asshole!

Dont let it get to you. You can use it as a means of getting more exposure. Look at WWE the unpopular/hated character at the time tends to pull more money for their business than the fan favourite. Any publicity is good publicity. Stir it up and get noticed.

Agree that any publicity is good publicity. Baiting on people's hatred or feeding the trolls on purpose.. Well if that's your intention - all for the sake of getting the views - then go right ahead. In that same spirit, why not just trash on everything so you will get haters on every aspect? If that is your nature to incite hate, or you're doing it just for the views.

There will be haters, there will be trolls. Whether or not you wish to stir them up, or feed them, is up to you, there's always the choice of just ignoring them and get on with what you like to do.

Some people, you'll find that you just can't talk to, they can't handle a difference in opinion. Oh well, have fun feeding them trolls!

It's interaction, so all good :)

It's your opinion on the Grom, and that's what vlogs are, your opinion on a topic. I'd probably never engage someone narrow minded, but for those wishing to engage, then probably worth entering reasoned debate and respect each other's opinions, it'll go far. Ignore another's point of view by stomping on a reasoned comment then you risk alienating people for coming across as ignorant.

Engage where engagement is due, don't feed trolls, or if you do a tidbit to have some fun :)

Just watched it, and agreeing with it is neither bad or good. all that matters is you are getting views and haters gonna hate... Just keep making vids and don't let nah sayers stop you from doing that!
