General He Took My Bike!!

Greetings, folks!

I'm kind of excited to post this latest motovlog because it includes a very special reveal... check it out!

Nice new bike! Man, that feeling is he best! Love the white, chrome and black look. Any problems riding with out a windshield?
I’m so used to having one that riding without looks weird to me.

Today - MLK DaY -- was a cold day for riding. Went to our local Micky-Ds for breakfast this morning, just a mile away, and even in thermals, jeans, turtle neck, leather jacker, balaclava, winter gloves and a full-face helmet I could feel the cold. You’re just a little south of me in Delaware (I’m just outside of Philly in South Jersey), so I can’t imagine it being that much warner.

Hope the weather holds, and you can get some good riding time.

Ride safe, and post more clips!

I've never ridden with a windshield, so it was pretty normal for me... I think it would probably be a bit better all around. My helmet has a lot of wind noise to begin with, I'd love to cut that back some, but I still like the "naked" look without it. But yeah, it was still on the chilly side today. Sunny enough for the gear to keep me warm, but my hands were feeling it!

Wednesday and Thursday are looking to be in the low 50's... those will be motorcycle commute days. :)

Thanks for watching, man!! You have a channel?

Noob, no channel yet. I’ve been editing my trip to Ottawa, Canada I took back in September and will post a couple of chapters soon. I need to do some color-correction and some polishing (polish to perfection as they say), then the inevitable export render.

I take the Ben Franklin Bridge from Jersey to Philly and back almost daily. Some days it’s pretty windy, and a few times I had to tuck in under the windshield to avoid an arctic blast. I know what you mean about wanting that Naked bike look. Also love the back rest on the back. My last bike had one.

Taking a long trip on a bike, packed for anything, is the best! Makes you feel like a boss.

No doubt!

I love the back rest as well... I rode 2-up for the first time the day I got the bike, then a longer trip on Sunday. It's a whole different experience, but it was really good. I go from Middletown to Dover; sometimes up to Wilmington, so I'm definitely getting more storage. I ordered bags for the bike -- they shipped today, so hopefully they'll be there this week. I'll be doing an install video for those as well.

To give a little preview, these are the bags I got:

Can't wait to get them on!

Oh yeah! Definitely a good deal of storage there. What's the top speed on that? Does it work well for your commute? I'm wondering if you find yourself needing more power at times?

Power if fine. Top speed is 90 mph. Enough to run with the big boys and out run city buses and SUVs. The cargo storage is great. Under the seat is like a small footlocker.
