Hey all, thought I would share a few pics of my ride. I have a 1980 CB750f that is pretty far from stock.
This bike is probably my favorite project ever done (I do a LOT of projects) and her looks have changed quite a bit from when I first got her.

Here's what it looked like when I brought her home.

And some similar shots for comparison...

And that's what a frame-up rebuild will do for ya -I love my bike and will never really be done with it. In fact, she'll be getting a facelift pretty soon, too. Don't worry, I'll be sure so make a vid of it ;)

Heck yeah!! I'm a huge fan of cafe racers. Been wanting to do my own project for the longest time, just no bank account to support it. And you know what? I decided the other week that I wanted a CB750 to do my project with as well. Can't wait to see the video of the new facelift.

absolutely beautiful :) and done with taste.

id love to do a café racer project too but prevented by time, money, and space. im super jealous haha

Thanks for all the kind words. Also, just so you all know, my bike as pictured probably didn't set me back much more than $2k. However I have more hours into it than I can count...

And Toast, if you really do decide to get a 750, be sure to check out this forum: http://honda-cb750-s.456789.n3.nabble.com/
I am a member there and there are a ton of super helpful guys with sweet 750's.

Probably the sexiest cafe I've ever seen! :D

Oh and the most creative work is usually done on a tight budget :P

Thanks for the link. I've wanted to do a cafe project for the longest time, and it'll probably still be a while until I actually do it. But I have kept the link for future reference, thank you. It would be very lovely if I could get my hands on a 1980's CBX :D
