it is ridiculous to get rid of them, if in a country where it is expected that females cover themselves a bit then the countries beliefs should be adhered to, but that doesn't mean lose them all together. I don't get why people would want to take them out of the industry and potentially put them out of work. If folk are offended, they can just not watch, tbh, the grid girls are generally out at the least exciting part of any race meet so they wouldn't be missing much if they didn't watch until the warm up lap!

I see more skimpy out fits on the street now a days than on the grids. Makes me worried what the censorship brigade will be up to next!

As a snowflake and a rider, I have wondered why the grid girls are so young and aerodynamic?

Think about all the safety gear involved in holding an umbrella at a track. One rider with an itchy wrist and the whole lot will be run down.
