No I looked it up - it hasn't become to big of a problem for me yet, as long as it records when I need it to I'll bare with it. Its a common problem apparently.
But if it gets unbearable I will probably reset the camera, wipe the memory card, and then do a hard reset.

I'm stepping away from gopro, I've got the 4 silver and it's buggy as heck. I've made a choice to bring a new setup on board. Sena 10c with a firefly 6s for higher def. No more camera crashes, no deadcats and wind, just riding and talking crap.

Firefly 6s at $100AUD
I get 2 cams with bluetooth handsfree for the same price as the gopro.

Just reporting back here that the Sena 10c + Firefly 6 was a great success! And such and EASY setup. No more Gofail for me!

I have a Hero 2 as my 2nd angle cam and it is a brick. NEVER had an issue with it or my original GoPro. once the 3...4.. came out those are garbage IMO.

I'm still learning how to use Sony Vegas so the vid has been messed with /tweeked with saturation and gain.
fundamentally I'm very satisfied with the result and can only see the way up from here.
