Go Pro Stopped Making Black 3+?

Just been looking at new cameras i have in mind to buy the go pro black edition 3+
and it isnt on their website just the silver +?
bit confused why they took it off?

3+ black is very similarly specced as the 4 Silver, just you get a screen on the 4 Silver.

Yeah their line up is a mess. This is because the 4 silver is identical to the 3+ black but at an inflated price and with a useless LCD screen.

If they still made the 3+ black then they wouldn't sell any of the 4 silver cameras.

If you go on the go pro website what im saying is they've been removed, i know you can get them off ebay, amazon etc.

Gotcha, see that too...Could be a number of different things

Obviously you want to promote your latest and greatest, possibly the 3 black could poach some of the 4 black sales since most users don't fully understand all of the shooting modes/features, all they might see is how much less the 3 black is...

Also makes me wonder if the 4 silver shares similar guts with the 3 black (think firmware changes e/t/c)

I know I personally have no use for a 4 at the moment...

I have a hero 3+ black, good camera, if you look around, you can find them...
