Ghost S Remote Frozen?!

G'day,
I am going thru the phase a lot of you have no doubt already gone thru in regard to my Ghost S camera freezing, glitching and just doing its own thing at times. I am currently trying the reformat the memory card in a computer 'fix' and I'm seeing if that ill fix anything.

The problems have, up until yesterday, been limited to the camera/memory card itself. Yesterday my camera froze (yet again!) and this time my remote froze on flashing red as well. I've tried switching it on and off numerous times but it is fully frozen on red as soon as you turn it on.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, is their any way to fix it?

Cheers

Not had a problem as I dont have the ghost (thankfully still got the 1080P) BUT are you able to remove the remote battery? If not how about holding the on button for at least 10 seconds?

Holding the power button doesn't work and the battery is internal so I would have to undo some screws to get to it, if it is a removable battery at all.

Bugger :( I did a little research and came up blank, I suggest you contact Drift :(

I'm going to try running it flat and see if it resets itself that way. Failing that I will curl up in a ball, cry for a bit and then send it off. A new remote is only $50 so I may even go that way.

I've been having one hell of a time with my drift as well. I recently switched sd cards and viola! like magic, everything is fixed. try a different brand card before you send in the camera. mine would randomly freeze, stop recording, go black (requiring me to eject the battery), and the remote would also act funny. I would also have to format the card every time i connected it to a computer.
Different card solved everything. Good luck, man!

Which cards were you using, and which one did you replace it with?

Also, did you notice any difference in picture quality?

i was using a new sandisk ultra 32g and i replaced it with the exact same card that i had been using in my iON air pro. i did notice a better picture quality as well. I have no idea why one would work and the other would not, though.

Def what he said, I heard because data rate on the HD video camera captures is so high, camera is very demanding for the card to be top notch quality. Not only class 10 + but having one from a good brand (otherwise known as expensive one) will do great things.

Heard good things about Samsung Cards.
