This is what a sports bike looks like with a 2000deg Celsius make over.
The frame and 2 sets of wheels completely gone.......incredible.
As you may be aware my good friend Nathan 'Salty' Salkeld recently lost his entire race package including his beloved van and race bike in a freak van fire.
Unfortunately Nathan, being the ever organised army devotee, had fully loaded his van in readiness for this weekends first round of racing with Thundersport.
The van contained everything from tools to spares and EVERYTHING in between.
He is understandably devestated not just because of the material and financial loss but also because it means he wont be amongst his fellow racing friends for the foreseeable future.
Whether it's his army training or adult independence, he's way too proud to ask for help.........but I'm not!
Nathan is what you would call the "salt" of the earth kind of guy, who would help whenever and however he could. He's a lovely bloke and i rekon many of you think the same.
My proposal is to try and raise a little money to help him on his way to getting himself straight again.
Whilst the van was insured, the rest was unfortunately not.
If you are unable to help financially but perhaps have some kit or tools you can donate , all would help out.
thanks in advance
