Front Facing Speed Cameras....

I was flashed by a front facing speed camera on my bike yesterday and i was wondering if I can still be fined?
The Story:
I was riding late at night home from work and I just got a new intercom thingy which i was messing with while riding, (trying to get music on), in a 30mph zone, so i was concentrating on the road and the intercom and not the speedo and got flashed from the front, looked down to my speedo and it said 36mph, but then I didnt see if the camera from the other side of the road managed to flash my arse because i was looking at my speedo.

Ive never been flashed before so Im not sure what will happen.

(I also dont have a number plate on the front of my bike).

Cheers.

You got a plate in front? If no, then you're fine.

Last I was riding in London. I wasn't scared of any traffic cameras facing my front because the bike I rented didn't have plates at the front.

I hope your right haha

Thats what im worried about, guess ill find out in a few weeks time. Thanks

Never know.... Someone the other side of the road might have been speeding.

What speedo have you got? Digital or clock? If it's a clock then it's normal 3-5mph over anyway.

Its a clock, ill get a friend to ride beside me and ill see if the speeds are the same. Cheers

Wouldn't worry about it.

Up to 42 mph you'll be offered a speeding course if you get busted anyway

Story goes a biker went through a front facing camera flicking the Vs as he went.

Because it couldn't be read by ANPR, the case went to a human operator who just happened to be a bike nut and recognised the bike as being quite rare, and something like 3 in the country. Then whittled down who is was by the colour or some other feature.

So moral of the story. Don't take the piss or push your luck with cameras :)

Or moral of the story is don't ride a unique bike, get some cheap mass produced shit meant for plebeians.
