Interesting concept but the footage/lens looks pretty sub par for now. Audio is pretty awful as well. Heard about it through a controversy in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. One of the riders became sponsored by them but since GoPro is a premier sponsor they squashed it.

I do think it would be cool if the footage to be edited/rendered so you can cut up clips with different angles...I have a feeling that's not quite how its going to work though
