Fluctuating subscribers count

I recently found that my subscribers count is going up and down on regular basis. Let's say 2 days ago - 730, then day ago 739 and then 731 today. I think it has something to do with youtube fighting fake accounts (those who wants to be your friends on youtube ) No increase or decrease shown in stats
Is it just me or others noticed that as well?

Yep, happens to even a small channel like me, I've been told it's normal by other motovloggers. Last week I crossed the 200 sub line, went up to 208, then a day later back down to 203, and now a few more days later I'm up to 211.

Seems to me like after a YouTube purge I almost always get a mini flood of new subs right afterwards too, almost like the algorithm pushes my channel a bit more than usual after it takes subs away. Might be coincidence, who knows, lol.

I'm more frustrated by finding I have a new subscriber, but there's nothing to tell me who they are. I generally like to look over the channels of those who subscribe to me, but if I don't know who they are I'm left guessing.

A lot of subscribers like to stay anonymous. I've actually had a few reach out to me with questions or comments and such, they won't post a comment on YouTube but they send me emails or hit me up via Instagram.

It is pretty normal. When at lower sub counts the fluctuation is more noticeable, but as your channel grows you'll notice it a bit less as it will be a smaller %

Yes, I've noticed. I was at 148 subbies a month or so ago and thought "nearly at 150!" then it dropped by 3ish. I'm back at 148 again now.
