Who left the rain on?
2nd part of a recent group ride I took part in.

I'm not entirely sure, first time I've rode out with them, not sure if they're always like that, or if they were particularly erratic that day, I kept a fair distance from the main pack when that was going on, I wouldn't say its my preferred style of riding lolI might have missed it, but what was with the riders overtaking and cutting in and out of formation?
I suspect they need some rider training to pull off this for reducing that behavior because they all wanted to be up front at onceI'm not entirely sure, first time I've rode out with them, not sure if they're always like that, or if they were particularly erratic that day, I kept a fair distance from the main pack when that was going on, I wouldn't say its my preferred style of riding lol
Yea I'm still pretty new to group rides so I hang at the back away from the chaos lol, was good fun though!Def always ride your own ride, especially important on group rides where others might be wanting to ride at a faster pace.
Looked like you all had fun though!
Was your camera loose? It seemed to have varying amounts of not being in the right direction :-D
How are you mounting it to your helmet? Am sure between us, we can give some tips on ensuring it is aimed right!
Sugru? Not heard of that, gonna have to go google it, does look like a much better way than how I've got mine set up that's for sure.A lot of motovloggers (myself included), use Sugru to attach the camera mount to our helmets, means we can then in conjunction with a simple GoPro ball mount, get the camera pretty much bang on the centre of the chin piece and can fine tune with the ball mount

I agree, the ball mount has been my saviour too....That ball mount is AWESOME! FWIW, it's the single thing that allows me to have a horizontally-mounted GoPro on the side of my helmet.
The Sugru should add a bit of security that it won't come off your helmet while riding.

See, that's where a Max Lens Mod would come in handy! I can't quite get my camera level, and its weight pulls my helmet to one side, but the footage is always levelI agree, the ball mount has been my saviour too....
My head sits wonky... dropped on it too many times as a kid no doubt! Hahaha, but it allows me to correct for that, and my inability to stick things to my helmet straight too!
True story! In my case, however, even with the ball/side mount I have, I can't get the GoPro to be perfectly level, and that off-kilter look was driving me nuts... so I paid for the Media Mod to keep my sanity.but is also £80 vs the £20 of the ball mount! :-D
