Ever Worry About Your Bike Being Hijacked?

Good luck getting my key out the ignition... its a fudging nightmare.

As for this chop. Quick jab and drop the clutch. Dont get off the bike

I would or snapped his jaw, fucking prat, cops wouldnt do anything anyway, especially after my bike was stolen and they let the thief off.

Exactly. Unless you've had a bike nicked, you would say that you'd let the old bill deal with it!

The police are useless and I honestly think that these days, you take the matter into your own hands

Interesting, not sure how I would of reacted. I probably would of flipped and may have tried punching the guy but then seeing his friends there.. I think you did the best possible thing.

Never had it happen to me, and I used to live in longsight, then moss side then Salford.

If probably punch him as a reaction though then speed off.

I think that is what most are saying. Get him out the way and get away. but don't get caught off thebike by a group, because that is suicide

Nope. Drop the clutch, kill the engine, beat some ass.

No key for my bike so they'd have to use extreme measures to get me off it to kick it over.

I really doubt most of you would have followed through on your words if you were in the situation.

When/if the opportunity arises and you're surrounded, leaving is the best option. But one on one confrontations? Unless he's armed, most people should stand their ground and punch a fool, especially if you're in full riding gear. Basically an armored trooper minus the balistic protection. Plenty of impact protection however.

I don't think anyone would have stayed. In fact I don't think most people would let him come close.
When sketchy people get close to me when i am near the lights I tend to play with the throttle , as if ready to leave.

I’m a big believer in running like hell! I love my bike its my freedom my heart and my soul but if I was in this situation id be gone!!!!! And if I couldn’t go id hand the chap the keys and walk home because I’d rather walk home crying than bleed out on the floor like a pig my dad was a police officer for 38 year and told me about many time when people had weapons (being pipes, iron bars, knifes, guns brass knuckles and chains) and you could not tell. He also told me about a man who once stood his ground and knocked the mugger out, the mugger then cracked his skull on the kerb as he fell and died. The man defending himself ended up in jail for man slaughter as drink had been involved. I’d rather buy the mugger a pint than fight with him.
