Hey guys,
Just got back two days ago from Italy after attending the press days of the EICMA show. Lot's of new bikes, if you've never been to it - make sure you rate it high on your bucket list.
I hoped posting new videos from that show would help my channel get some attention. It did actually get some 100+ new subs, not something to run home about, surely not for the amount of effort and money that went into it, but I'm glad I went as it was a great experience.
I was running around from bike to bike, shooting, some just walkarounds, some with actual presentation, others in between. It was fun doing it by myself, with maybe some help from my wife here and there, where the big boys from the Euro magazines were coming in crews of pairs and triplets, the reporter, the cameraman and sound\light guy.
Got to interview the CEO of Husqvarna and chat with a lot of nice, interesting people.
Unfortunately, after the last day of the show for us when we prepared to leave Milan for a two day trip around Lake Como, our car was broken into and some SOB stole ALL our luggage including ALL my gear - cameras, gimbals, OSMO, OSMO mobile, lighting, recording equipment, GoPro, every cable, battery, SD card and what not. Thousands of dollars. Worst part was my hard disk with 6 months of work on my channel, including all motorcycle reviews that were in final editing stages that I planned uploading after the show. All is gone.
Of course, most of what I shot on the show was there, except for some footage that I had on my phone and on one SD card I forgot in my pocket....
Not sure what next for me and the channel, but anyway, would love it if you guys checked out the EICMA playlist on my channel, like it if you do and share it if you feel it's worth any love. Of course, new subscribers get a 24 hours place in my heart
