eBay Bargin Finds

So with the whole just going to work I've been spending many hours ploughing trough eBay (luckily I'm window shopping) I found a PackTalk Slim no box but all the clamps mics and speakers for a £150. Being that its not specific listed for the Caburg Duke 2. The battery bit went in fine but the the control unit originally sat a bit low and didn't quite fit flush but a quick separating the clamp and you can open it up a little and you can slide it over the wired lip.

Also with the foam earplugs the speakers push against my ears. Wanting to keep the earplugs I found PlugFones which are earphones with in them. They're a little bassey but for the £22.95 price tag with hearing protection I can't complain. I haven't ride them on road yet but sitting inside compared just the foam plugs they sound like they're doing a better job. That's before I switch the music on.

Will have to do a video at some point.

Is good to find bargains. I really need to sell my Sena as I don't use it as the earphones were uncomfortable in my helmet, I got a Schuberth with built in comms, which I don't use often but is nice to be able to listen to music occasionally on bike :-)

I'll admit I've never liked the speakers on intercoms. Never been able to get them set right. Thats why I used to do a earphone and an earplug but after my QZ died and I went full earplugs (SNR of 32db) I didn't want to do anything different. I was looking at the Custom Fit Guards since they do 32db with the earphone drivers in them. But at £200 they're a bit out my budget at the minute. I wash going to get a set of filtered ear plugs but then I found the Plugfones and I thought they'd be worth a shot. Pleased to say they are. The problem with using the foamies I couldnt get the intercom loud enough at times either.

I used to be music all the time and I'm now going that way. Sat nav directions are also nice in the ear as well.
