This weekend I went and did my first camping trip of the season. I generally only go a couple hours from home and test out a 4-night kit just for an overnight. Mostly, I wanted to check weight on the bike and that I still pack only needed items.
Weather was perfect. Saturday on the way out it was in the mid 50s. Overnight the lows were hovering in the lower 40s. I left out of camp in the mid 50s, and half way home it was in the mid 60s. I got home, unpacked the bike and went riding again afterwards. The winds were strong (still are) with gusts in the 40-50 mph range, so there were times I was leaning like I was riding the Tail of the Dragon, yet heading straight down the road.
The video isn't much - basically a quick walk around the campsite. This is the first weekend of what I hope to be a very busy year, motocamping-speaking.
