Duc 1199 Panigale

Picked this up last fall-- I'd been on a Duc 916 for many years before this one, and had a pretty hard-core attitude towards the technological goodies on the modern Ducs-- that lasted about a day. I can't believe how fast I am on the silly thing with the computers rounding off the rough edges. o_O

Mamma mia.. That's hot.

wow this is amazing. is maintenance crazy on ducatis?

Not really. It's more expensive/frequent than on a japanese bike to be sure, but not terrible, especially on the newer bikes.

Cam belts is the big one every 12-15k miles (used to be ~6k miles on the older bikes), but I do them myself so it's no biggie.

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys! I guess I should do more videos on the silly thing. :)

thats not to bad. my buddys aprilia is horrible. you have to replace cylinders and pistons every 10k or something like that. its very short time. you basically do a complete rebuild on it every year.
