Does anyone know what these cameras sell for second hand?
curios if i was ever going to upgrade to the ghost

It seems so varied, but id say around £100-£120? Keep an eye on ebay.

The Ghosts have been out a while and mow GoPro have brought out the 4, Drift may feel the need to catch up, eapecially as the 4 Silver is cheaper than an S yet can do a little more than the Drift. If they bring out another flagship camera or a whole new series the Ghosts will drop as will the previous models.

oh wow, the only thing i notice with go pros is the fact they look ridiculous to mount? unlike a drift that you just slap on to the side of your helmet you know?

Indeed, form factor is a choice, although GoPro is the better "name" generally and have always lead in specification and price for the flagship model.

Names are so overrated ~o~ . I can have a box that's junk and on the outside it says something like "Yoshimura", but it's still a box of junk ~_~ .....

Does that even make sense  ???

I see one on eBay that's currently at £66 with 20 hours left. Would have been great if you grabbed it for that price as it's gone for that price before :D

i think ill stick with drift, go pro just seems to need so many accessories and drift seems so sleek and compatible

I'd not say any one is better than the other, it's how well it suits your needs, both spec, form factor and usage.

would you recommend a go pro , over a drift?
Tbh when I was presented with the choice of ghost s or hero 3+, I went with the ghost s because it had a very low profile when mounted on a helmet, and i've heard the quality is mostly identical. Well after capturing a couple of videos and uploading them to yt, the quality of other motovloggers videos with gopros looked noticibly better to me. Don't get me wrong, the quality is not bad on the ghost s, but if you're picky and want something that offers the best quality video, gopro is the way to go. Myself, I now think about getting the hero 4 black.

To summerize it, ghost s has a very good battery life, low profile when mounted on helmet, decent quality, rotatable lens, waterproof without extra casing, built in screen.
Hero 4 black lacks battery life without battery backpac, stands out when mounted on the side of the helmet, has superb video quality.

Watch a few motovloggers with drift ghost s and then compare the quality to for example to royal jordanian. If that difference in quality doesn't bother you, then ghost s sure as hell is a better camera for you with many different qualities that gopro lacks out of the box. Plus the prices of new ghost s on ebay are ridiculously low compared to a $500 gopro + probably like $100 in additional accessories if not more.

Second hand websites - ebay etc, may be a good place to start. see what other people are selling them for and go fro there? even do mates rates for someone you know
