Yeah, it stopped firing on one of the cylinders, I was riding from Portsmouth to Bedford, got on the M27 and it just lost power, didn't want to ride it the best part of a 100 miles like that, so stopped at Winchester services.

Think it needs a new coil, booked into Bedford Bikes and Cars in London Road on Tuesday.

I've been there before, but my old bike cut out on a motorway sliproad. Awful feeling.

Well, it's 4.5 years old with 30k on the clock, and a coil is like £100 + vat, so hopefully not too big a deal.

That still seems a bit 'young' to me. Might want to check and see if there isn't something else adding to the problem.

i have to say bedford bike and car are very nice and helpful i would have said to you about a bike meet in bedford today if u had a bike

Well, we've got a Suzuki van van too :lol: I can ride to meets on it, I just can't keep up on ride outs with it. :mrgreen:

haha well its a facebook page/group called herts, beds and bucks bikers we are trying to make meets regular there one next sat if u want to come along but its a range of differnt size bikes really so im sure u would b able to keep up
