Don't Diss A Scoot

This is my ride after 3 years out .....don't hate because it's a scoot lol .....I'm chilling out in my old age

What's to hate!?

Round here if a scoot is being ridden by youth in sneakers and a hoodie then you need to give them space, but all the sensible riders get the same respect as any other bike.

No hoodie and trainers (on the bike) but I can't say I'm completely sensible ....can still keep up with most as its a 350 and handles well (for a scoot)

No hate I wave at Scoots down here. anyone on 2 or 3 wheels get my respect.

What funny is Ive had sports bikes , Harley's , off roaders , tourers , street fighters etc and it's only the scoots I don't get respect on lol .... I will keep trying .....I nod at everyone ......in Europe the y wave a leg no matter what you're on

The main group that ignores a wave here is scooter riders, in Gainesville (college town), where most scooter riders are students. If I lived in Gainesville (instead of the occasional visitor), I'd likely stop waving as well, just too many scooters. In rural North Florida (where I live) nearly everyone waves. When riding in town, I often wave mid-turn, when I know the other rider is busy with clutch... consider it a gotcha'.

As a scooter rider I tend to wave alot to anyone riding, I don't always get a wave back but I have never been insulted or called out on for having my scooter, most people like the style and colour so It's all good. Wave or not I'm not to worried about it.

Most scooter riders around my area are college kids in short shorts and flip flops absent mindly weaving around. And trying to drive on the hwy at blistering 45-50mph

Most scooter pilots, not all, in my area are the soccer moms in minivans applying there make up, eating a cheese burger and playing words with friends while driving of the 2 wheel world.

I still wave but alot of times i get the wtf look from them
