Yes, the range is a difficult topic, because as soon as you switch it to high power, more suitable for outside the urban areas, the distance drops drastically. And we really don't have hills\mountains here to test that aspect. I just found out there is a possibility to rent it, and tried it out. They do sell it here too, for about 4000-5000 eur, I think. That's a good looking bike.
I think if a bike company puts something out with performance focus vs EV, it'll make lots of converts and sell. I think the issue there would be range. I posted a range related Q on your vid
With the price it comes with, it could easily be, but in our area, it does require 1'st level motorcycle licence. Many EU countries allow this kind of bike to be ridden with car drivers licence.I think I heard somewhere that the Super Soco was one of the best selling bikes of 2021... not sure if that is UK, Europe or worldwide though.
I think @Meifesto had a loan of one recently too.
PM ElonI want an electric motorcycle so badly, but until we get bikes with decent ranges I won't be buying one. Hopefully they get better over the next few years.
Tesla will never make an electric motorcycle, Elon had a bad accident on one long ago and hates them now.PM Elon

Same in the UK, our 50cc bikes are restricted to 30mph max, but can be ridden by 16 year oldsI think the 50cc equivalent would be painful to ride here, because by law they need to be limited to 45kph
Yupe, limited to 45kmh, but ridable by 16 years.I think the 50cc equivalent would be painful to ride here, because by law they need to be limited to 45kph
