Meanwhile over at Facebook I am poking the Harley Fanboys Hive.

For those that are unfamiliar - some Harley folks get a little bent when someone points out H-D does copy others.

Latest example are the new CVO Road Glide vs. Indian Challenger.

I always appreciate folks who champion truth over groupthink, even when it's clear that we won't actually make a dent. It's a never-ending battle on the internet, but someone has to stand up for facts!

I owned Road Glides for 10 years but I love the Indian Challenger. If I was going to buy a non-Goldwing bike today it would very likely be the Challenger or Pursuit.

Everyone's copying everyone, it's the game they play. I wanted to like the Challenger more, but I couldn't get past the design... and hearing about all the electrical gremlins [specifically the windshield], I passed on it and went with the Me Too Glide.

Now I have an Affluent Glide... a Street Glide with all the trimmings to make it look like a Limited.
