Guide Davinci Resolve 4 Moto Vloggers (DR4MV) Episode 1 is LIVE!

The Forrest Gump of Motovloggers
OK folks - here's the first DR4MV video! I've got a few planned (thanks for the suggestions) but any feedback is greatly appreciated - I hope this series helps some vloggers out!

Nice, I liked the vocal track part of the tutorial. I use NR and Desser on all mine, I don't do a vocal track, I might have to mess with that one.

Glad you liked it!

Did you see my list of upcoming episodes in the "How long does it take you ..." thread? What things did you want to see in Resolve that I didn't list?

I would follow up the color grading one with a more advanced color grading, were you can go into node tree's and how nodes work in color correction and LUNS.

You could also add a keyframe basics, and use that to build onto a lesson on basic fusion use. Those are harder videos to do, and you need the earlier videos to build on those. But they will be really helpful for people who only use the basic editing parts, to learn to start using nodes/fusion and keyframes.

Yeah, I'll have to look into that and see if I have my terminology correct, but I have done that a couple of times (my Brighton Dam video comes to mind). That stuff is ... not too hard once you get the hang of it, but it's a bear to do the first few times. And Resolve doesn't like editing those speed-adjusted clips!!!

Huh, I've never done anything with the sound filters in DaVinci, never knew how they worked until now! I just use the program at a very basic level, I should probably learn more about it.

Yeah man, Resolve is so powerful ... you can literally do anything video-wise with it! I'm constantly learning and trying new things, all to up my production quality and speed up my workflow.

Like I mentioned in my reply to your comment on YT, lemme know if there's a feature or something you want shown in Resolve :D

I think the current list of DR4MV episodes is up to 8, but only 1 posted and 1 filmed so far :D
