Dang you Yamaha!

I wonder if a non-GoPro or a 360 camera is considered a video camera since they don’t technically shoot in video, but in a digital format? Also, I can’t see Yamaha telling anyone what they can do on a ride. They can bar anyone from attaching a camera to their bike, but if a person has a camera on by a chest or shoulder mount how can Yamaha tell anyone what they can and can not wear on their person?

Too bad Google Glass never took off.

That is not a great way to sell products in today's social media world. How old school of Yamaha.

No wonder it's so chilly out this morning! Hell has frozen over! This is the first time in history that a company other than Harley got blamed for being too old school!

Don't mind me, I haven't had my coffee or stogie yet. I'll see myself out.

Not sure it is that outdated approach though. There are enough influencers on the internet, who will have a deal with them, to do a review and only show everything in good light. If a potential customer looks for reviews online and sees only good reviews, the mind will be set.

Eh, I still feel that's an outdated approach.

Just look at Tesla, they don't even have a marketing or PR department, they simply allow everyone to film, post, or say whatever they want about Tesla products and it's worked wonderfully for them.

In today's modern world I think it's better (and more effective) to allow freedom of social media rather than to control it the old fashioned way.

Good point, but unless they search you, a chest mounted camera can be well hidden, and ready to shoot once the ride begins.
I think I might be able to get away with it if I looked like this
