I've seen the odd video a while ago of this dude.

He basically pranked his kids but as a father of two, I'd say mentally abused in the name of 'prank'.

He's lost his children thankfully

My main question though, he was sponsored by businesses who supported his channel.

I was following "that defranco guy" and his posts on the channel, am glad the kids are safe although I wonder how there lives will pan out now.

What I do find strange is the mother of the children making a heavily but cheaply branded video with some back street lawyer.

is crazy with all the crap about advertising on youtube at the mo, some of the channels I've seen demonetised are obviously humour when you have stuff like this which is IMO child abuse.

I came late to this party and only watched defranko's videos about it the other day.

All I can say, it happens, the difference is most people don't video it and put it out there for the world to see then cover it up as a prank.

If anything good can come from it is that the family are lying bastards, and that it brings child abuse to the media.

Being a dad and growing up in a kids home I just can't watch stuff like this. Hopefully the kids are OK thats all I can say.

Oh and YouTube seriously needs to look at the way it allows monetization and a better way for the public to close a channel down.
