I was thinking about doing exactly what you are saying, I may do that later on.All my low viewed videos get great retention as they are watched by the dedicated few of my subscribers that like my content... so am guessing the same in your video here.
One of the things I do that puts people off my videos is make them too long, it often stops people even clicking on them, so maybe the duration put people off a little.
Also your title might be an issue, as you said in the video, it isn't an enduro bike, so enduro riders will probably not be looking up videos on a CRF250, especially not the Rally version, and CRF250 Rally owners, are probably not searching for enduro videos, so YouTube won't know who to suggest the video to, meaning no new audience via YouTube suggested vids.
You could possibly rename it to something along the lines of "My First Go on a 300cc 2-Stroke Enduro Bike" and change the thumbnail for the KTM/Beta, especially as the CRF didn't make it onto the track in the video.
Ah thanks for this quite interesting reallyI finally got free enough to run this. Here is a snip showing how the tool looks and then I will paste the actual write up from the AI:

From the AI box:
Based on the data provided, the video "Honda CRF250 Rally on an Enduro track!" seems to be performing above average for the TOMSTC channel. It has received a total of 169 views in 4 days, which is higher than the channel's average performance. The video is 25:12 minutes long and has received 9 likes and 10 comments. The top comment suggests that the video could benefit from more information on how to change the clutch on a CFR250, while the second comment provides tips on how to improve riding technique.
To further improve the video's performance, the creator could consider adding more information on how to maintain and repair the Honda CRF250 Rally, as this seems to be a topic of interest for viewers. Additionally, the creator could consider adding more action shots and close-ups of the bike to make the video more engaging. Finally, the creator could consider promoting the video on social media and other platforms to increase its reach and attract more viewers.
I hope the above helps. I can offer my two cents as far as your style and such but I see what creators try is like art. There really are different ways to create it. What should matter in the end if the artist like their creation. Money would be nice, we all like that but remember all the great artists that were starving at one point or another.

Tom,Hi All,
Below is my latest video which I thought would do really well, it has excellent retention. Howerver it still seems to have flopped!
Can you go an watch and post your critisims below please?
I don't recall which editor you're using, but most of them should have a "monitor", which shows a green-to-red meter of audio levels. If it gets into the red, that's bad - and tells you to lower the volume a bit so it's not peaking. Thanks matey thats exactly what I was looking for, yes the voice over gets a bit distorted annoyingly. Didnt hear that when editing!
