There are some nice police in the world. I lost my wallet in a country town on a road trip and when I reported it at the police station (in case it had been handed in), the police man gave me $5 from his own wallet so I could buy breakfast while i waited for my parents to wire me some cash.

That's awesome people have to remember, they're human too. I've only had good encounters with Police.

I have known some real @$$hole cops and some real good cops.
hell one of my cop buddies even sold me a gun. (all legal and stuff.. don't worry)
unfortunately with the job you have to be a hardass to not get f%@ed over by the baddies.. its just some cops have trouble turning that off for the rest of us.
