Comment here or on YouTube

Lots of us motopeeps post videos here as well as on YT. And, of course, we may feel the need to comment on said video. Where do you comment - YouTube or here?

For me, I usually comment on YouTube because this will reach a wider audience and maybe help the vlogger's channel grow and (ahm) earn them money.

However, if there is a bit of banter here that's just between us, I might add to a comment here.

What do you do: YouTube comment or motovlog.com comment?

If theres banter going on in the thread here I'll comment on that, but i always make sure to go to youtube and comment there as well...

Depends on context, if it's something motovlog related like a camera setup, editing and the like, I'll comment here.
If it's something more focused or concerning to the general public, I'll comment on YT.
For example:
I really like that island shot you put up there, seems like a nice place. ->Goes on youtube.
You'll make that island shot shine if you pick a narrow angle lens and do a really slow panning ->Goes here.

yes, all of the good comments making it seem awesome, and boosting the creators confidence go there for the general public.
Then constructive criticism and help goes on here :)
It is a good rule to go by, because it is more of a community here, whereas on YouTube, you may say something that sparks someone to make fun of their video; and no one wants things to be taken out of context :D

Yeah, this is like the underground, we forge here and then go publish on YT, that's the way I see it, not the other way of doing whatever and pushing their media here.
