Focused. Out here just livin’ it.
Went on an adventure ride recently with a friend in April and rode these two slugs around the mountain roads. They may have lacked speed on the tarmac, but off-road they were more than capable (at least my XRE with those knobbies). One evening, my friend washed out the rear and dumped her bike as we ventured down a dark, muddy mountain pass. The only injury was to her ego while the Yamaha suffered bent steel and broken/scuffed plastics.
You have to love Colombia… there is no shortage of motorcycle mechanics. The next morning, we found a shop in a nearby town to fix the bike and went on our way. I’ll be heading back again, so if anyone happens to travel that way, let me know!
