I've been looking at various tires for my Horent and have settled on a pair of Bridgestones, a S20 for the front and a BT023 for the rear. Now, the best price I have found for the two together is £235 delivered from Tire Tech. Does anybody know anywhere where I may find them cheaper?

Not the Battleattacks ones??? I had those on my new hornet and hated them, thats probably just me though.

I currently have BT016s which I think are great from what limited usage I've had, But then again I haven't tried any others on the Hornet. They only last about 5000 miles though so I was looking for something with a bit more life. Did you have the Bt023 on the back? ,they are meant to be their best sports touring tire and maybe last 9000 miles. S20 was only £6 more than the BT016 for the front so I thought I might as well go for that one :p

I know you mentioned the Avons mate and I've had a look at them and seen some good deals, not sure which yours were though?
At the end of the day I could just get another set of BT016s for £210 delivered, just works out more expensive in the long run.

People seem to really rate the BT023, it's just the S20 Im slightly apprehensive about as cant fine much about them on the Hornets nest. I might give them a shot though, If I don't like them Ill sell them on and buy some new ones :)

I had a BT23 on the rear of mine lasted about 6000 miles, not a fan of them myself but others like them. One thing they do have is less rolling resistance than what I use now, good or bad I dunno ;)

haha, what didn't you like about them?

I'll be honest and say I have no clue what are on my bike but I don't have an issue with them, the hornet is nice and responsive and always there for me in the corners so no problems :)

I just go into the garage every now and again and say "I need some tyres" and the magic happens.

Haha, I would love to do that but I need to buy online to save money :p I would be greatful if you could have a look at the tires and let me know what they are please :)

Going to phone my local garage now and see what they'd charge to change them.

I have a BT023 on the rear, which isn't bad but i don't feel too confident on it at high angles of lean.

All i did was put the details into eBay, pressed Price and P+P lowest, checked the feedback of the cheapest and bought :)

Cheers Curley, I tried that and got slightly lower price but had to buy from separate places so It worked out a couple of quid more, ordered the S20 for the front and BT023 for the rear, I think Ill just have to try them out and see if i like them :D £228.50 for the pair delivered, 16" fronts are expensive!
