Sounds like you need to find yourself a better bunch of peers. You might not use Facebook, but get on it solely for finding other motorcycle people. Most areas have people forming groups and whatnot. Try reddit too. Most cities have a subreddit for their motorcyclists.

Essentially you can nearly always find someone local with common interests if you know where to look.

I have just a few great friends that I hang out with. I usually went through life not really caring too much what people thought. I started becoming more aware of this subject because of a new role I took up, I'm now president of a motorcycle ministry. How in the world I was elected I have no idea. I can say though, taking that role and doing this Motovlogging has really made me open up quite a bit. I've met amazing people I normally would have never talked to.
