Capturing tunnel exhaust sound

Well since I live in Chicago, anyone that has seen Batman knows I have access to a pretty long stretch of tunnel to blast through. When I roll through it, my GoPro doesn't really capture the amazing braaaaappage. I have a Yoshi so it's not the quiet stocker. Running the basic set-up with a mic taped to the inside chin bar by my mouth. I do have a bunch of other mounts that I would put on the exterior of the bike...but then the wind noise? Anyone done a good blow through of a tunnel with good audio on a GoPro?

I've used a kithen sponge cut in half, velcro to under the tail

Sounded awesome but deleted the video

Theres also a company called deadcat who specialise in sound deadening, look at the royaljordanians videos clear as day :)

I think Accidental Broadcast used to (still does?) make some mic wind blockers...i forget the name of the product though

I'm still tackling how to snake the wires and mount the cam. Something about sticky tape cam on the swing arm and 3 feet of wire near the chain and wheel makes me nervous LOL.

I wouldn't mount a cam on the swing arm, you'll get jello real bad
