Buj A Peice Of British History

A buddy of mine recently got hold of his first bike (Triumph Cub) bike back after parting with it many many years ago. It hasn't been restored though the throttle cable was changed yesterday. It spent 23 years in a box and has just over 6000 miles on it. Needles to say when I saw him pull round he was grinning like a cat that got the cream. Was also his first ride on it since getting it in November.

Awesome stuff, you have more details on the bike?

Theres not much to say really. Buj was made in 1964 and my mate Graham first picked him up in 1968 for £35. Buj also has the bikini bottom. He pumped out 9hp out of the factory and used to get 70 downhill. These days Graham keeps it at 40.

If there is anything you want to know in particular, I will ask him for you.

I think it is really cool that he got the bike back. How did he find it again?

His brother saw Buj on eBay. Graham checked to see it was him and it was. So he got his daughter to get pictures so he had somthing to physically look at and she said "I can do one better, I've brought it"

that is a really cool story. I kinda wish there were more motovloggers on classic bikes sharing their experiences. Us dudes on modern stuff don't have the heart stories of our bikes like they do!
