Bollocks - I Crashed On The Track

dandoolittle

Site owner, lovely and adorable
Kinda high sided at Snetterton at the weekend lol - Nothing major and thankfully nothing broken but back, neck, shoulders and knees (not toes) are bashed up, should be fine within a week

Needless to say I doubt I'll be online that much due to needing to spend the time working before I start to seize up a bit ;)

Not a massive amount of damage on the track bike either, cosmetic more than anything else

TOugh luck mate, sorry to hear it. Glad you, and more importantly the bike, aren't hurt!

Heal thee well dear boy!

Also, is it weird that even people talking about crashing on a track makes me itch to get back on one!!

As it happens, Snetterton is the only one I HAVE done so far!

The thought of wrecking my bike is the only thing putting me off doing a track day. I'll definitely go once I get my second bike though.

When I did the track day on my Fazer, it was the only bike I had and it only cost me £500!! :p:p:p

You'll only wreck it if you push too hard or do something silly! And luckily there are no brick walls, or cars, or lamp posts to wrap it around if you come off! So it'll just tumble off into the distance, breaking off replaceables as it goes!

The good news is you didn't break yourself.

I was looking for an older/cheaper bike to use just on track but now I've dropped my gixxer I'm not too bothered about using that for track days now. If only finances allowed...
